There are so many backpacker with minimum budget comes to Bali, and a lot of them ask about : bus or train from Bali going to Java especially Jogjakarta, because I know they will think about the budget if they use for airfare because and they will think would be very expensive.

Ok guys, I just want to write here about Executive Bus from Bali to go to Java, because sometimes when I have no enough money I also would choose Bus to go to Java. The Buses from Bali to Java would leave in night time, ussually they would be leave from Bali at 5 or 6 pm (Bali time), If you go to Malang or Surabaya...you will be arrive there about 4-5 Am (Java time). and if you go to Jogjakarta, the bus would be arrive in Jogjakarta aboout 7 or 7.30 Am (Java time).

If you want to come back to Bali, the bus ussually would leave from Malang/Surabaya at 4.30 or 5 pm (Java time) and would be arrive in Bali about 6-7 Am in Bali (Bali Time), then If you are leaving from Jogjakarta the bus would be leave from Jogja about 12-1 pm and arrive in Bali about 5-6 Am (Bali time). So you can counted how long to take a bus from Bali to Java, its about 12-15 hours on the way. And if you take the flight is about 1 hour would be arrive.

By the bus, would be comfort?? To take executive bus from Bali to Java or Java to Bali, I think is really comfortable...The rate is about Rp 150.000 - Rp 250.000 (Is about $17 - $30 for Executive bus...And they will give you clean bus and complete facilities, such as : clean pillows, clean blancets, comfortable seat, the big space for luggage, clean toilets, and also they will give you snack and food on the way..you can sleep nicely I think, then you also can see how beautiful nature and green plants on the road.

So, If you choose to take a bus..I think would be nice choice for you, and would be spend little budget during your vacation or become backpackers. Cheers :)
